1. Introduction

Welcome to MyFreeWeb. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our services. By applying for, accessing, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. Services Provided

MyFreeWeb provides website design and development services at no upfront cost, subject to application approval.
Website hosting is billed monthly at £19.99 and includes hosting, SSL, security, maintenance, and support.
Custom domain linking is included. Domain purchase and renewal remain your responsibility.
Optional extras may be available as add-ons inside your MyFreeWeb portal. We do not currently provide Google Ads, marketing services, or logo design as standard services.

3. Application and Acceptance

All applications are subject to review and acceptance by MyFreeWeb. Once your application is accepted and you complete onboarding, you authorise us to begin building your website and your free trial starts immediately.

4. 10-Day Free Trial

The free trial lasts 10 calendar days.
The trial begins immediately upon completion of onboarding, not upon website approval or launch.
During the trial, your website will be designed and developed and you may request reasonable amendments.
You may cancel at any time within the trial period without charge.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your paid hosting subscription will automatically begin.

5. Subscription and Billing

After the free trial ends, hosting is billed at £19.99 per month.
Payments are billed monthly in advance.
There is no minimum contract term.
Failure to cancel within the trial period results in the first payment being taken automatically.

6. No Refund Policy

All payments taken after the free trial period are strictly non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued for failure to cancel within the trial period.
No refunds will be issued for dissatisfaction after the trial has ended.
No refunds will be issued for unused time, changes in business circumstances, or lack of usage.

7. Website Review and Approval

You are responsible for reviewing your website during the trial period.
Minor amendments may be requested during development.
Approval of the website, accepting a preview, or continuing beyond the trial constitutes acceptance of the website as delivered (subject to any agreed follow-up changes).

8. Custom Domain Linking

You are responsible for purchasing, renewing, and maintaining your domain name.
MyFreeWeb is not responsible for domain expiry, loss, or third-party registrar issues.

9. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your hosting subscription at any time.
Upon cancellation, your website will be taken offline.
Website data may be permanently deleted after 30 days.
No refunds are issued upon cancellation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services for breaches of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse.

10. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential.
You confirm all content you provide is lawful and does not infringe third-party rights.
You agree not to use the services for illegal or unauthorised purposes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
This includes loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunity.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim.
We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party providers or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

12. Data Protection and Privacy

We handle personal data in line with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy. You confirm that all data you provide complies with legal requirements.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold MyFreeWeb harmless from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the services, content you provide, or breach of these Terms.

14. Payment Processing

Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider (currently Stripe). We are not responsible for delays or errors caused by Stripe or other third-party payment providers.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including technical failures, natural disasters, or third-party service outages.

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when published on this page. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
